Pkcs#11 windows 64 bit

2020-02-19 10:19 Or do you need 64 bit memory space for your application? If the need is very dire, you could compile OpenJDK in 64 bit and test if you get the PKCS# 11 provider to work. This will take quite a bit of knowledge and (for a Windows compile) patience getting the required libraries and tools. Maarten Bodewes Nov 21 '11 at 21: 29

Aug 26, 2013 JEP 131: PKCS# 11 Crypto Provider for 64bit Windows. JEP 131 (PKCS# 11 Crypto Provider for 64bit Windows) is another of the 11 new security features funded and targeted to JDK 8. PKCS# 11 is a standard that defines a platformindependent API to cryptographic tokens like smart cards and hardware security modules. pkcs#11 windows 64 bit More and more vendors are providing native PKCS# 11 libraries for 64bit Windows. Shipping the SunPKCS11 provider in the JDK for 64bit Windows will allow Java applications to use such libraries on that platform. Description. Modify the current build process to build the SunPKCS11 provider binary on 64bit Windows.

Jun 07, 2011  I use the SunPKCS11 provider for signing data. It works for 32 bit machines 2000xp but not in windows 7 64 bit. Moreover, the java pkcs11 guide says: The Sun PKCS# 11 provider is supported on Solaris (SPARC and x86) and Linux (x86) in both 32bit and 64bit Java processes. It is also supported on 32bit Windows (x86) but not currently on 64bit Windows platforms due to the lack of pkcs#11 windows 64 bit

Original reason for not doing this was that we did not want to ship a win64 version of the SunPKCS11 provider because we did not have access to any PKCS# 11 implementation to test with. We did not want to ship something that could not be tested at all and could potentially be DOA. Are there 64bit windows providers we can test with now? pkcs#11 windows 64 bit
